Late in 2001 my son, Bill, suggested that we have a space in the Hirschman Family Web Site for some favorite recipes for food preparation. Some of these will be German-European in character. Others, later, can be of any savory ethnic origin. We hope other members of the Hirschman clan will send us some recipes to "upload" and try.  Rick Hirschman, my cousin, for example is a professional cook !

I'll start things with a recipe for Wiener Schnitzel and another for Spaetzele, those wonderful fresh German noodles Grandma Martha Hirschman and her sister Mary Neermann used to make, in the early 1900's.

Since this web site is a dynamic thing we will add categories as new recipes arrive. Enjoy !
